When a handheld is pointed to the preview/testing server, this option is displayed in the handheld menu.  This indicates that the handheld is not syncing with the main production server and is currently previewing new code or being used to test the OPS-COM system.

Preview Mode

This menu options serves no other purposes but to indicate to the user that the handheld is not syncing with the production database.

While in this mode, the handheld can be used for testing and training without any concern of corrupting production data.
