Chalking: E Chalk with the tablet, Can the system do the following and what additional costs will be involved?
§ Are the images time stamped? Yes
§ Does the time stamp appear on the images?
§ Are the images saved? Ability to compare before during and after images of the chalking with a particular plate.
§ Require chalk Images to be tied to the violation, if a violation is issued.
- Violation already has images attached but if this is ever to go to court then it would require the chalk images and that they are timestamped as part of the violation file that is produced (exported or printed)
The answer from Robin -
Shannon Jones At this time the chalking is not recorded with the violation. But like so many other things, there is some flexibility here... |
The image that exists in the system from a chalk is part of the violation unless the patrol deletes the image. If they select to issue a violation the HH uses the image as the first image for the violation. Then the patrol can take additional photos.
Images show time stamps (written on the image itself) so effectively the chalk image has a time stamp of the chalk time.
