Release: Bornea

Adult male Bornean orangutan in rainforest canopy in Indonesia

This release is named Bornea after the endangered Bornean Orangutan. Their population has declined more than 50% over the last 60 years as their habitat has been dramatically disappearing due to logging and hunting. There are only about 104,700 of this species left in the world.
